During recent travels to England, I stumbled upon two beauties that, although I have always loved, have never been given the chance to closely experience.
The first thing I fell in love with was Güero, the loveliest of big dogs I have ever met. He is 1 and a half, very well behaved (believe it or not), and very playful. I, an out-of-the-closet little lap dog fan, was taken back by his gentleness and bubbly personality.I have always liked Labs, but have never really exposed that side of me bc it would be too much torture for me since I know I can not fit one into our very small home. After hanging out with this tremendously cool guy, I want to move to a house with a big garden so that we can play!!
The other thing that I have also been able to seriously consider are Hunter Wellies. Having grown up in The Andes and made plenty of weekend trips to the muddy, damp, and gorgeous country-side of central Colombia, allowed me to develop an appreciation for all things cute and practical. The Hunter wellies you see sitting right by Güero are something I have craved to have for a long time. Having lived in the Suburban US did not really allow me the splurge, as it was rare for me to actually set foot on the ground outside —— blame that on a horrible car-dependent system!
Now, living in a very rainy, green and muddy place where cars are not the boss, I find the perfect chance to reconnect with my mountain roots once again and experience the muddy fields, the bright green grass and love rainy days!!!
The current dilemma is not whether to get a pair or not, rather, which colour should I choose?!?!!? No need to move to a large home with a garden for me to be able to get these guys now.
