Thank you Mr. Schuman, you’re awesome. Can not way to spot you here in Dublin!
Two Hot Rats walk into a bar...
Mr. Right and I went to see them Friday night. The venue was quite the pleasant surprise as it was our first time going to The Academy.
The show was just perfect.
The opening band (Howlin’ Dowlin) had quite a catchy repertoire and I even had the change to chat with the drummer’s wife, a friend of theirs that kept apologizing for her gorgeous accent (Glasgow), and later to the man...

Long past its expiry date...
This one was written a while back but laziness and ”life” got the best of me and I never ever published it when it should have been published. My most sincere apologies go out to you all, but more rightfully so to Peter O’Brien and the folks that have been making these magical Saturday mornings at Dartmouth Square happen.
Oh I must share this one with you all! Not sure what...

Memory soundtrack?
I am one lucky nut. Got a guy that cooks for me and refills my wine without hesitation. Takes me to places that I have only dreamt of seeing some day and makes me laugh. Then, he dares to get us tickets to a show by “some band”.
Of course, as a music lover (not an expert), I ask who they are. He says the name and it rings a very distant bell, but not quite sure why it is so...

Lost Luster
I wanted to make an entry about this book I’m reading now about how these big “luxury” companies are making the big bucks by pretty much cheating Paris Hilton-wanna-be customers through dubious means.
The trash bag you see above is very much a fake. But it makes you wonder how far our society has truly gone with this obsession with brands that don’t even provide the...

Tate Modern at it again...
With the help of London’s Tate Modern, Stuart Semple unveiled something never done before:
HappyCloud —- an “installation artwork of over 2000 pink smiling faces” that flew over the Thames back in late February.
Great to see that not everyone’s mind is in all things gloomy and down. Nice going Mr. Semple!
I hope the soap was biodegradable…
How I love me some Miss Van
This is pure beauty and genius that needs to be shared with the world. We found this while walking along the lovely streets of Berlin’s Stadtmitte (Neue Schönhauser Straße).
Now, if Miss Van would travel some more to grace us with her art, that would be street-art bliss for us all.

Give me a break!
I love all things cool and fashion; yes, after all I am human. But sometimes fashion and coolness spill into the ridiculous.
Yeah, I can dig it. But would I pay $280 for it? Even if I had the cash in hand, I would have to say “Ummm no thank you!” There are better things out there for a whole lot less. Let’s be real people.
I think I figured it out!
This is where I call home
Fun ways to scare your mom to death. Almost.
Some people do this on purpose by rebelling against their parents and getting badly placed tattoos or a not so hygienic-looking piercing. Others, as myself and many I know, do so unintentionally and quite effectively. Here’s the case of my friend R. Takes quite a huge fall, her baby breaks his little ankle (okay, this is nothing small), and R goes through hellish weeks in hopes that...
Oh dearie, so here's how I'll roll...
Dear Reader(s);
This is not my first blog, but at the same time it is. The other one is this private “thing” my husband created for our friends and family so that they may follow this very dynamic duo through the trials and tribulations of living in foreign lands.
This here is my attempt and just letting the creative writing juices “flow”. Sorry for that last use of...
